This is amazing. I had a very bad accident that crippled me and altered my life.

If this is so effective, why don't NBA players with knee troubles try this?

I had 6 injections of Prolo and then 6 injections of PRP by Dr. Magaziner here in New Jersey. My second MRI revealed that I still have arthritis in my left ankle. I had a very bad fall where I tore the tendons and ligaments. I also now have bone abnormalities and the foot has flattened because of the injury. It's over 4 years and I'm still in pain. I'm terrified of having surgery, but it might be my only choice.

Good question! It sounds like there may be a problem as to why you are not healing. There are usually reasons why someone would not respond to PRP/Prolo. If you want a second opinion, please contact us directly to review your case. Another reason would be too few injections per treatment or not receiving comprehensive Prolo. You may want to look at those things with who treated you. With Stem cell, it is used mostly for degenerative arthritis or cases requiring solutions stronger than PRP alone.

Regular Prolo and PRP injections did nothing for my chronic ankle pain. Why would Stem Cell therapy be any different?

@stuntsaguilera Thanks for the comment. Cartilage implant surgery is not something we do. We help people avoid surgery with Prolotherapy. Unfortunately, we just have not been impressed with the reported long term results of ACI. Mostly because there are other factors beside cartilage that effect overall joint health that are not supported by ACI. We have a video on ACI surgery where we give more thorough thoughts. But you have to do what you think is right for your case. We wish you the best!
